Catholic Community Services
Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and the Gospel imperative, Catholic Community Services of Western Washington (CCS) and the Archdiocesan Housing Authority (AHA) (doing business as Catholic Housing Services and Coordinated Care Agency) are outreaches of the Catholic Church in Western Washington, under the leadership of the Archbishop of Seattle and the Boards of Trustees.

CCS and AHA answer the Gospel call to loving and compassionate service with particular concern for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death and the dignity of the human person.

Our employees and volunteers come from many faith traditions to serve and support poor and vulnerable people through the provision of quality, integrated services and housing.

Our focus is on those individuals, children, families, and communities struggling with poverty and the effects of intolerance and racism. We actively join with others to work for justice.
Catholic Therapists
In today’s world, it’s essential to navigate carefully when seeking therapy or self-help resources. Many New Age concepts pretend to be Christian, leading individuals down paths that may distance them from God. Our platform safeguards against these dangers by exclusively featuring therapists who faithfully adhere to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
CatholicTherapists.com is here to assist you in finding therapists who not only provide effective counseling but also prioritize spiritual integration. Whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself or are interested in learning more about emotional well-being, our directory connects you with professionals dedicated to helping you live a fulfilling and abundant life in alignment with your faith.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs)
Are you looking for a way to serve our growing parish community? We have many people who are unable to attend mass due to illness, injury or infirmity of age. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) for the Homebound visit nursing and rehabilitation centers, as well as private homes to bring the Blessed Sacrament, share the gospel and bring hope and friendship. This is a vital ministry. Providing comfort to our homebound community is an important corporal work of mercy. This ministry is an important one that calls for sensitivity, care, and compassion in reaching out to our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ. Training is provided for those who serve as an EMHC for the homebound.
Prospective Eucharistic Minister candidates must be baptized, confirmed, and practicing Catholics, at least sixteen years of age in good standing in the Church. If married, they should be in a valid marriage celebrated in the Church.
You can touch the lives of our fellow parishioners and make a tremendous difference. Please prayerfully consider this ministry. If you would like to learn more, please contact our Outreach director, Roseanne Murphy, through email: roseanne@bcatholic.com or via phone @ 360-370-3460.

Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is a world-wide organization of Catholic men and women who offer their services to the pastor to aid him in performing spiritual works in the Parish. The primary purpose of Legion membership has always been the personal growth in holiness of its members, both active and auxiliary. This is sought by placing themselves under the banner of Mary and the influence of the Holy Spirit through prayer, the sacraments and service. The apostolic work of the Legion is to visit and provide spiritual fellowship and encouragement to those who are sick, the homebound, the fallen-away, and those who have other needs as referred by the Parish.

Auxiliary members are not required to attend the weekly meeting, but are asked to pray the Tessera, as well as the daily rosary. Regular meetings of active members are held every Monday at 9 a.m. in Holy Trinity’s Voltin Hall.

PREPARES
PREPARES is a pro-life ministry that helps to care for pregnant moms and support families with small children 0-5yrs old. We operate under two tiers:

-
Providing mentorship as family companions for those seeking support to help navigate the emotional challenges of raising a family by offering friendship and support to new or struggling parents in need.
-
Offering basic needs for a child from 0-5yrs, helping families who may have some financial challenges to cover the basic costs of needful items such as diapers and wipes, clothing, hygiene type products, blankets, etc. These items we get are donated by our parishioners and are gently used or new items.

The basic needs tier is provided via Mary’s Little Tots Shop which is open every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:00am-12:00pm(noon). We are closed during holidays or snow events. We are located near the south parking lot at Holy Trinity Church (4215 Pine Rd NE, Bremerton)
To keep wait times short, monthly shopping is organized by the first letter of your last name:
-
A-M is the second Tuesday of each month
-
N-Z is the fourth Tuesday of each month
Para que los tiempos de espera sean cortos, las compras mensuales se organizan por la primera letra de su apellido.
-
A-M: segundo Martes de cada mes
-
N-Z; cuarto Martes de cada mes
Parishioner donations occur in the vestibule area every First week of the month. If you are interested in volunteering or seeing how you can get involved with this ministry, please email: Prepares@bcatholic.com.

Spiritual Bouquets
This is a fledgling ministry that needs more volunteers. If you have (or want) an active prayer life, you can help “deliver” our spiritual bouquets in commemoration of special events in the lives of our parishioners.

-
What are Spiritual Bouquets? – Spiritual Bouquets are prayers or devotional acts that someone (the giver) has or will offer for someone else (the recipient). It can be given from an individual or group to an individual or group to express joy, sorrow or best wishes, often in commemoration of a special occasion. The recipient is given a card or similar indicating who the giver is and what the spiritual bouquet consists of. This can be the number of Masses attended, Holy Communions offered, rosaries and/or other prayers said, or good deeds performed. It should include the sender’s name and the number of times each offering was or will be done, and it may also include the dates.

All benefit from prayer. The nicest part of this ministry is that it can be done communally or alone, at church or at home. Many of our homebound are the best “pray-ers”, so they are a special gift to this ministry. Click Here for a Spiritual Bouquet Card that you may download and send to the beneficiary of your gift.

Stephen Ministries
Stephen Ministry has been an active ministry in our parish since 1991. We are fellow parishioners with gifts for listening and care giving who have been selected to serve our members who have experienced a loss in their lives from illness, death or other causes. We have received fifty hours of training in skills such as active listening, dealing with feelings and respect for others. All our contacts are confidential.

Welcome Ministries
Our Welcome Team, is geared to welcoming new parishioners. Some of the ways this can be done is by having greeters before Sunday Mass, a phone call to new parishioners, welcoming them to the family and, perhaps, inviting them to meet over a cup of coffee in Camerman Hall. Nothing says “welcome” like a friendly face. And if you’re a little nervous about putting yourself out there, think about the person or family coming into a new area. This is a military community and we have many newcomers.

Widows Adventure Group
Sometimes with the loss of our spouse, we are challenged to get out and enjoy the fresh air. The Widows Adventure Group has formed to increase social outings in the form of adventure dates to explore the local area within a 90-minute travel range. Adventure dates are every three to four weeks. No meetings, no formality, just women who share a common loss seeking inspiration through new experiences together. For more information, to sign up, or make suggestions, contact widowsadventure@bcatholic.com
