OCIA: DISCOVERING CATHOLICISM
The process of becoming Catholic is called OCIA, which stands for Order of Christian Initiation for Adults. Here at Bremerton Catholic, we call it Discovering Catholicism! The Discovering Catholicism program seeks to teach people the Catholic Faith and prepare them to follow Jesus as a Catholic. Meetings consist of dinner and fellowship followed by a video series and in person teachers covering one topic of the Catholic Faith. Then the topic of that evening is further discussed in small groups.
Discovering Catholicism classes meet on Thursdays at 5:45 PM at the Social Hall of the Holy Trinity Campus. Classes run September-May, the first official meeting will be September 17th, 2026.
Discovering Catholicism is also the program for adults who are baptized Catholic who seek to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Sign up with the form below, just make clear that you are a baptized Catholic!
