OCIA: DISCOVERING CATHOLICISM
The process of becoming Catholic is called OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). Here at Bremerton Catholic, we call our OCIA program Discovering Catholicism.
Discovering Catholicism is designed to help participants learn about the Catholic faith and prepare to follow Jesus Christ as members of the Catholic Church. Each gathering includes dinner and fellowship, followed by presentations from a video series and in-person instructors on a specific topic of the faith. Participants then discuss the topic in small groups.
Discovering Catholicism classes meet on Thursdays at 5:45 PM at the Social Hall of the Holy Trinity Campus.
Classes run September-May, starting September 17th, 2026.
Discovering Catholicism is also the program for adults who are baptized Catholic who seek to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Sign up with the form below, just make clear that you are a baptized Catholic!
