What’s the purpose? 

The aim of a discipleship group is to build a Christ-centered community in order to encourage each other on our journeys, to challenge each other to be Saints, and to have fun while doing it!

Who is this for? 

For teens in high school (ages 14-18)

What can I expect from High School Discipleship? 

You can expect regular social opportunities and missionary involvement to discuss the realities of the faith, whether through Bible Study, fun games, sharing stories from our lives, or simply hanging out with the kids.

The fundamental role of this ministry is to give kids opportunities to walk alongside each other during this pivotal point in their formative lives and choose Christ as they do so. Within the parish community, our high schoolers and youth at large need opportunities to be transparent with trusted peers and mentors on the matters most concerning them. We want to provide spaces and activities where they can feel understood in their experiences and questions about the faith, yet be challenged to use critical thinking on those matters.

Then, at the end of their most formative years, these valuable souls will have the skills, knowledge, and experience to go and make disciples of all nations, as Our Lord commanded in Matthew 28:19, wherever they go next in their adult journeys.

How can I get involved?
To be a teen participant, you just need to show up! For special events, you may need to fill out waivers, but that is it!
To be an adult mentor, email the Director of Discipleship, Hunter Reichel, to express your interest. Within a week, the Director will contact you about onboarding and the training process to become a Discipleship Volunteer/Mentor.
