Choir

Choir members must be able to sing in tune, blend with the choir, and be willing to practice at home when necessary.

Choir meets one hour prior to each Mass in the Choir Room (room 12) for warmups and last-minute adjustments.  

Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6pm each week for English Masses and Thursdays at 6pm for Spanish Masses from Labor Day through Corpus Christi (with some exceptions).

Children’s Choir

Children who have received their 1st communion are invited to join our Children’s Choir.

Children’s choir meets Thursdays at 4:30pm during Advent and Lent and sings at Mass on Christmas Eve, Epiphany, Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, and Pentecost.

Children’s Choir Camp is scheduled each summer. Both Mrs. Casteñeda and Mrs. Lujan lead games, activities, and singing to prepare for the upcoming year and educate our children in music literacy.

Cantors

Holy Trinity is currently auditioning new Cantors.  Cantors must be able to solo with a pleasing tone, good articulation, project through the sanctuary, and be Catholic in good standing.  Cantors must actively participate in the choir (including rehearsals) and rehearse with the director or accompanist individually.  Adult cantors must be Safe Environment certified.

Instrumentalists

Holy Trinity is always auditioning for substitute pianists.  

Violins, guitars, flutes, and other instruments are encouraged to contact Tina Lujan to join us for various Masses, events, and activities.
