SHE SHALL BE CALLED WOMAN

She Shall Be Called Woman: A Faith Formation Program for Women

She Shall Be Called Woman is a Catholic women's faith formation program designed to help women deepen their relationship with God, grow in authentic community, and discover the beauty and purpose of their unique vocation as women. Through inspiring presentations, meaningful conversation, and guided prayer, participants are invited to encounter the Lord in a deeper and more personal way.

Whether you are single, married, a mother, a grandmother, a young adult, or retired, this program offers a welcoming space to grow in faith alongside other women seeking to follow Christ more closely. All women are welcome.

What to Expect

Each gathering combines:

  • Engaging video presentations from respected Catholic speakers and authors.

  • Small-group discussions that encourage authentic conversation and mutual support.

  • Opportunities for prayer and spiritual reflection.

  • Practical guidance for living the Catholic faith in everyday life.

For those who desire a deeper experience, optional devotionals provide additional opportunities for prayer and reflection throughout the week.

Why Participate?

In today's world, many women desire deeper friendships, a stronger spiritual life, and a clearer understanding of God's plan for them. She Shall Be Called Woman seeks to meet these desires by helping women:

  • Deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Grow in prayer and spiritual confidence.

  • Better understand Catholic teaching on the dignity and gifts of women.

  • Build lasting friendships with other women of faith.

  • Find encouragement and support in life's joys and challenges.

  • Bring Christ's love more fully into their families, workplaces, and communities.

Current Study: Masterpiece of Creation

One of the program's featured seasons, Masterpiece of Creation, explores what St. John Paul II called the "feminine genius"—the unique gifts and strengths that women bring to the Church and the world. Participants learn how God's design for women speaks to the challenges of modern life and provides a path toward greater joy, purpose, and holiness.

Topics include:

  • God's vision for femininity

  • Understanding the feminine heart

  • Discovering your God-given dignity

  • Finding the extraordinary in everyday life

  • Growing in virtue and resilience

  • Deepening your relationship with Christ

Future Studies: The Virtues of Mary

Additional seasons explore themes such as the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary and practical ways to grow in holiness through faith, humility, prayer, patience, charity, and trust in God. These studies offer women a roadmap for spiritual growth rooted in the example of Mary.

Featured Speakers

Each season features nationally known Catholic speakers, authors, religious sisters, and ministry leaders who share practical wisdom and encouragement for living the faith. Contributors include Lisa Cotter, Sarah Swafford, Rachel Bulman, Mari Pablo, Alicia Hernon, Jordan Langdon, Sr. Alexia Zaldivar, and others.
