The participants need to be turning 13 years old at the reception of the Sacrament (typically the Confirmation Mass is in May), but no older than Senior in High School.

Registration opens July 1st, 2026.

Mandatory Parent Meetings: September 13th, 2026 (English only) and September 20th, 2026 (Spanish only)

Classes Begin: October 6th, 2026

Classes End: May 25th, 2027 (dependent on Confirmation Mass date)

What can I expect from the Teen Confirmation Program?

Every Tuesday from 5:30pm to 7:15pm, teens will gather in the basement (Camerman Hall) of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church to share a meal.

Then, the teens will be split into two groups for the content portion of the night. Each group will be covering the following themes throughout the year: the Kerygma, the Sacraments and living a sacramental life, prayer, and life with the Holy Spirit. The teaching approach to each of these groups will be different to better meet the needs of the students in the class, but both will have time for small group discussions during each class.

The night will end with the groups coming together to pray Compline in the Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
