Missionary Internship Pillars
To WITNESS.
"But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

To DISCIPLE.
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
To EVANGELIZE.
“Every Christian is challenged, here and now, to be actively engaged in evangelization; indeed, anyone who has truly experienced God’s saving love does not need much time or lengthy training to go out and proclaim that love." Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium (120)
How are the Missionary Internship Pillars lived out?
TO WITNESS: We model a joyful missionary spirit for the parish through authentically living out of our relationship with Christ;
​always ready to give witness to the Holy Spirit.
​TO DISCIPLE: We build relationships, mentor, and disciple youth and young adults, fostering Christ-center friendships through the parish’s existing faith formation programs.
​TO EVANGELIZE: We coordinate and develop the youth and young adult parish programs, in collaboration with adult parish volunteers, focusing on encouraging parish youth and young adults to go out into the local community and invite the un-evangelized into a relationship with Christ.
